Northwestern Medical Center's mission is to provide exceptional healthcare for our community and we are currently recruiting for a Full-time Environmental Service Lead opportunity.
EXPECTED HOURS/SHIFT: Full-Time (80 hours bi-weekly), generally 5:00p-1:30a, including every other weekend
JOB SUMMARY:
The Environmental Services Lead is responsible for oversight of the Environmental Services staff under the direction of the Manager of Environmental Services. Monitors workflows and quality to maintain an exceptional level of cleanliness in the hospital and physician practice environments while maintaining low infection rates and high HCAHPS and AVATAR patient satisfaction scores. Monitors staff workloads to ensure all areas of hospital are covered to off shift hours.
PREREQUISITES
Education:High school degree or equivalent required. Associates preferred
Experience:2 years of Environmental Services team leadership preferred.
Special Skills: Understanding of OSHA regulations, hospital safety, infection control, general cleaning and floor maintenance skills and excellent customer service. Ability to read, write and understand English is required.
Other: Must possess a valid driver's license with clean driving record and be insurable by NMC's insurance policy.
